About IROS 2024

The 2024 IEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems (IROS 2024) will be held October 14 – 18, 2024 at ADNEC in Abu Dhabi ,UAE.

The theme of IROS 2024 is “Robotics for Sustainable Development“ it focuses on highlighting the role of robotics in achieving sustainability goals. The conference aims to spotlight emerging researchers and practitioners, showcasing their contributions to sustainable development through plenary talks, workshops, and technical sessions. Through competitions and interactive forums.

IROS is one of the largest and most important robotics research conferences in the world, attracting researchers, academics, and industry professionals from around the globe. Established in 1988, IROS provides a platform for the international robotics community to exchange knowledge and ideas about the latest advances in intelligent robots and smart machines.

Press Passes

Journalists may request a free press pass by emailing: localarrangements@iros2024-abudhabi.org. By registering for media accreditation for IROS 2024, you agree that your details will be shared with exhibitors and partners who may contact you about products and services which they are demonstrating at IROS 2024.

Please provide your name, email address, organization, and any ONE of the following credentials:

• Masthead from a current issue of a technology publication, online publication, or blog listing you as an editorial contributor.
• Technology article published within the past three months with your byline.
• Letter from the editor/producer on official letterhead or from a company email address that states you are covering IROS 2024 on assignment.
• Press photo ID from your media outlet.
• Business card from your media outlet reflecting your editorial role.

Note: Online media must also provide a recent monthly traffic report from an external demographic tool, like Google Analytics, verifying the online publication or blog gets 1000 or more unique monthly visitors. The site must be previously established, independent and regularly updated with original and current technology news. Personal YouTube, Twitter pages, personal blogs, forums, user groups and communities will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

The PDF file of conference digest of IROS 2024 will be provided to invited and registered press.

Attendance at, or participation in, this conference constitutes consent to the use and distribution by IEEE of the attendee’s image or voice for informational, publicity, promotional and/or reporting purposes in print or electronic communications media. No flash photography shall be used.

Photographs of copyrighted PowerPoint or other slides are for personal use only and are not to be reproduced or distributed. Do not photograph any such images that are labelled as confidential and/or proprietary.
